As straightforward as the bottle itself

It all started with BIER, our first product, in 2009. The recipe was the result of numerous blind tests and experiments with beer buddies and braumeisters. We asked ourselves a simple question: if we were to make only one beer, what kind would it be and how should it taste?

The answer was a classic, mild Helles with a very straightforward taste. It should be full-bodied but not too overwhelming for the palette, with a mild malt character allowing for the discovery of different nuances depending on serving temperature.
